Next Meeting: Sat., Dec. 16, 2017,
Coffee at 9:00 AM
As the weather (finally) is turning colder, it is clear we are headed into the home stretch for Masonic Year. I hope that your holidays are full of light and joy - and that you will have time to spend with family, Brothers and friends!
In that vein, I invite you all to the final stated communication of the A. Douglas Smith, Jr. Lodge of Research. We will meet on Saturday, 16 December at 9:30am in the North Lodge Room of the George Washington Masonic Memorial. This is an earlier start than usual (by 30 min) to allow for Brethren to attend other installations scheduled in Northern Virginia that day.
As at every meeting this year - we have new original research scheduled. Worshipful Scott Aughenbaugh has taken a look at the impacts of this digital age on society as a whole, and we will have a chance to discuss how it impacts us as Freemasons in the 21st century. This is a topic which impacts us all - both within our Lodges as well as in our homes and neighborhoods - so I hope that you will make time for this important discussion. As well, we will hold our elections and closed installation of officers so that we have time to get all our business done as well.
As always, when we break (at 11:30am) we will have a lunch brought in by our wonderful Stewards - so please make a point of coming out and being a part of this great day.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Respectfully and Fraternally,
Marc Allen Hone
